Aron R. Halberstam Philatelists, Ltd. – This is a WordPress recreation of a long-standing but out-of-date website for a stamp catalog. Building this was an interesting study in recreating a very old design, keeping the basic look consistent with the original for its older audience, but making it mobile responsive and overhauling all of its functions using WordPress plugins and custom code. The custom WordPress theme is built on the Genesis Framework. The site includes a method for periodically importing a FileMaker database to populate a WooCommerce store, adding new products, deleting products no longer in the database, and filling in all product details from the database. There are also custom product sorting options.
